Service Description

Must be registered in the Youth Wrestling Program - Grades 1-8. The Competition Team will include: * Weekly practice Wednesdays 7:45-8:45. * Coaching at select warzones and tournaments. * Additional opportunities for dual meets and matches. - Does not include registration fees paid directly to warzone/tournament hosts This is best suited for wrestlers who enjoy competing, are motivated to improve, and are prepared to consistently participate in the additional training opportunities. The Competition Team is not intended as a casual add-on for wrestlers who are unable to regularly participate in the additional practices and competition opportunities. The goal is to build a group of dedicated wrestlers who are committed to growing together and making the most of the opportunities provided.


Cancellation Policy

Plainedge Wrestling Registration Policy Thank you for registering your child with Plainedge YouthWrestling. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and organized experience for every athlete. Please review the following policies before completing registration: Registration & Payment Registration is required in advance for all groups. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be completed at the time of registration to secure placement. Refunds & Cancellations A full refund will be issued for cancellations made before the first practice or on a case by case basis. Missed practices due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons are non-refundable. Attendance & Participation Wrestlers are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for each practice. Proper gear (wrestling shoes, athletic clothing, water bottle) is required for safety. Consistent attendance helps ensure your child’s progress and a positive team environment. Conduct & Expectations All athletes must show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and facilities. Parents and spectators are expected to model positive behavior and sportsmanship. Any behavior that disrupts the program or endangers others may result in removal from the program without refund. Communication Program updates, schedule changes, and important notices will be shared via email and/or team communication platforms. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to check messages regularly. Pictures and images may be taken and posted to social media platforms. To opt out, contact the coaching staff. By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to follow the policies above. Our staff is committed to creating an environment where athletes can grow, work hard, and have fun while learning the great sport of wrestling.
