Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of participants, parents/guardians, and visitors while engaging with the Plainedge Wrestling program, facilities, website, and events. By registering for, attending, or participating in Plainedge Wrestling activities, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.


1.    Eligibility & Participation

●    Plainedge Wrestling reserves the right to deny or revoke participation for failure to comply with program rules, misconduct, or unsafe behavior.

 

2.    Code of Conduct

●    All wrestlers, parents, and spectators must demonstrate respect toward coaches, referees, teammates, opponents, and facilities.
●    Unsportsmanlike conduct, bullying, or abusive behavior (verbal or physical) will not be tolerated.
●    Parents/guardians are expected to support athletes in a positive manner and abide by league/event rules.
 
3.    Fees & Payments
●    Registration fees, event entry fees, and other program costs must be paid in full by the stated deadlines.

●    Fees are generally non-refundable, except in cases of program cancellation by Plainedge Wrestling.
●    Returned checks or failed payments may incur additional processing fees.

4.    Safety & Medical Responsibility
●    Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant medical conditions and provide emergency contact information.
●    Participation in wrestling involves physical contact and carries inherent risk of injury. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility.
●    Plainedge Wrestling staff and coaches are not liable for injuries. Medical costs are the sole responsibility of the participant’s family.

5.    Liability Waiver
●    By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Plainedge Wrestling, its coaches, volunteers, officers, and affiliates from any liability arising from participation in practices, competitions, or events.
●    Parents/guardians consent to emergency medical treatment if necessary when a parent/guardian cannot be reached.

6.    Media & Photography Consent

●    Plainedge Wrestling may photograph or record participants during practices, competitions, or events for promotional, instructional, or record-keeping purposes.
●    Parents/guardians who do not wish for their child’s image to be used must notify the program in writing at the time of registration.

7.    Website & Communication Use
●    Use of the Plainedge Wrestling website or communication platforms must comply with these T&C.
●    Information shared through these platforms (including schedules, announcements, or updates) is for personal use only and may not be redistributed for commercial purposes.

8.    Program Modifications & Termination
●    Plainedge Wrestling reserves the right to modify or cancel practices, events, or the program due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, facility availability, safety concerns).
●    Plainedge Wrestling may terminate participation of any wrestler or family who fails to comply with these T&C.

9.    Intellectual Property
●    All logos, program materials, and branding related to Plainedge Wrestling are the property of the organization and may not be used without prior written consent.

10.    Agreement
By registering your child with Plainedge Wrestling, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
